For Quilt Shops
TweetQuiltRed was inspired by the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign, which encourages women to take care of their hearts and educate themselves about heart health. As a quilt shop, you have the unique opportunity to promote women’s heart health. The Fabric Shop Network, in collaboration with shopowner Rachel Greco and author Barbara Weiland Talbert, created QuiltRed as a way for you to combine quilting and needlework projects within the context of heart health awareness. With QuiltRed, you promote the beloved traditions of needlework and quilting, and also influence women to take good care of their hearts.
This program was designed for you to use in your shop to encourage your customers to make pieced or redwork quilts to keep for themselves or give away to charity. The program includes fully-illustrated instructions for 24 quilts as well as three pillow projects. There are many ways to use QuiltRed in your shop–whether it’s brick and mortar or online–and the program includes everything you need, including marketing and promotional materials and ideas.
Quilt Shops must be a member of the Fabric Shop Network–the trade association for independent quilt and fabric retailers–in order to purchase the QuiltRed program. Learn more about membership on the FabShop website. Members can order QuiltRed right here.
